About ZiPmatch

ZiPmatch is the brainchild of Dr. Steele Clarke Smith, of Orange County, California. ZiPmatch's mission is to give people the opportunity to find someone to walk, jog, golf or participate in any other activity within their local community. Participants will be able to find someone with a similar interest, find a venue for their sport and arrange a time and date to meet. There will also be an opportunity for players to match their skill levels. ZiPmatch believes that anyone can change their own health and life by connecting to other people in their own surrounding areas and participate in local sports or any other social activities.

ZiPmatch is not a dating service or a weightloss program. ZiPmatch was originally designed for people who need to participate in a physical or social activity locally, but have no one to do it with on a consistent basis. ZiPmatch makes it easy for anyone to organize an activity or find one of the many activities already going on in their zip code.

Dr. Smith is a Life Fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians and active in both the California Medical Association and the California Academy of Family Physicians. As a resident, he conducted an obesity study, and while running his own medical clinic, conducted a weight loss program in conjunction with a well-known behavioral psychologist. Through that experience, Dr. Smith realized that most individuals view "regular exercise" as a social-activitiy… thus ZiPmatch was created.
